The story of Scarlet: Black Shadow is one of resilience and transformation. Despite appearing careless and reveling, her legacy is marked by ruthless battles and unnamed sacrifices beneath her outward appearance.
The fastest charging speed and the largest clip size among rocket launchers have made her the top choice among players.
During Skill 1, she unleashes nine attacks in just three to four seconds, distributing damage while also delivering an additional burst of damage. This ability significantly increases her overall DPS output.
When I think about Scarlet from Black Shadow, I can’t help but marvel at her incredible skill set, particularly with Skill 2.
It’s mind-blowing to have unlimited ammunition at your fingertips! This ability reloads her magazine partially or completely and boosts her maximum ammunition for ten seconds after each full burst of shots.
She gains a 60% reload speed at level 4, increasing her sustainability in battle, even with just one Overload line of max ammo.
I find it impressive how well she can handle most encounters with this setup. As I think about pushing her skill up to level 7 for that coveted 100% reload speed, I wonder how this would enhance her gameplay. Despite the additional max ammo, I wouldn’t go into level 10, even though it’s tempting.
The burst skill gives her a 10-second boost in charge damage and ATK, which is a game-changer. It’s like her normal skill 1, but the ATK boost isn’t permanent — a smart move if you ask me.
She alters skill 1’s trigger condition, which is what makes her burst stand out. In place of 3/6/9 shots, I get a thrill when it changes to just 1/2/3 shots. When she unleashes that burst, the DPS spikes explode. This quick adjustment shortened the entire action sequence by about a second. Those elements combine to create moments of pure excitement during battle.
Campaign
When the odds are in her favor, Scarlet: Black Shadow proves to be a powerful ally. Despite her 20% CP deficit, she can slice through enemies until the competition gets too tough – a clear indication that her burst damage is impressive.
It is difficult for her to dominate single targets when Raptures begin piling up. My Nikkes often cannot withstand a single hit as she struggles to eliminate the more dangerous foes before they unleash their punishing attacks.
Even though Scarlet’s distributed damage can sometimes feel like a double-edged sword, she excels at single-target DPS. In spite of her excellent burst, the limited splash radius makes it difficult to take full advantage of enemies.
Although she can get overwhelmed during intense battles, I can’t deny her immense raw damage output when strategically positioning her. Chapters weak against wind are almost as easy to clear as chapters strong against wind. In PvE, scarlet’s elemental prowess shines as she lets players switch between teams tailored to exploit enemy weaknesses. It’s refreshing to not rely on a one-size-fits-all approach.
As a result, her position in my lineup shows that despite challenges, versatility and brute force reward me.
