What are Wormholes?
When entering a Wormhole, you will have limited time, indicated by the blue bar at the top of your screen.
During this time, you need to defeat many monsters before being able to activate and kill the boss at the end. Being aware of the boss’s tactics is essential, as most of them can potentially eliminate you with a single ability.
Furthermore, these bosses have a lot of health, so you need to be prepared for a long and difficult battle.
Up to four players can participate in a Wormhole, and upon defeating the boss, you will receive all the experience you would have earned throughout the instance and plenty of rewards.
Different Wormhole Zones
Accessing your bag and navigating to the accessories tab will allow you to check the wormhole level you will enter.
Depending on your group size and class, these levels can range from relatively easy to extremely difficult.
As you become more experienced, you will become more familiar with the various levels.
Completing a Wormhole
Completing a wormhole will reward you with a range of valuable items. Plus, you’ll be able to progress to the next difficulty level. This is a great way to challenge yourself and get your hands on superior gear.
You’ll need to use a general formula to calculate the number of monsters present.
- Monster HP = Wormhole level x 1%
- Monster Damage = Wormhole level * 0.5%
Navigating through a wormhole can be a tricky business, especially when you start to increase the difficulty.
You’ll want to ensure you’re stacking up on resistances so you don’t take too much damage from the monsters that become tougher the further you progress.
At the same time, you need to make sure you’re doing enough damage to keep progressing.
The best way to do this is to watch out for the projectiles flying your way and get good at avoiding them so you can focus on dealing with damage.
With that said, don’t forget about the time limit if you’re not careful, you could struggle to make it through the wormhole!
